However, I get the error message 'an error occurred while activating your product(s).' and I have to try it again. When I try to register without internet connection, I have to put in an 'xxxx' activation code as described by Macmaverick (the uploader) and since I am not connected to the internet, I have to use the option 'activate by phone' and use an '1111' activation code. However, I still have to register the language packs in order to be able to make full use of them. iso and I can install the language packs. The problem starts when I add the language packs. (The only thing is, that where the instructions tell me to 'replace' the mdm.dat file, I couldn't find the original, so I just pasted it in the Resources file the instructions describe.) 
I followed the instructions and the programme seems to run absolutely fine. I've downloaded this version of Rosetta Stone for Mac I've looked through the forum and I know from the comments below the torrent that there already has been some discussion on this topic, but I'll try to specify my problem as good as possible.
