Overall, you can really tell the game pulls basic inspiration from various East European countries. The basic premise of Papers, Please is that you are a newly appointed border agent for a newly established fictional country. It was very reminiscent of another indie game, Cart Life, in that it takes a fairly depressing spin on normal human life and turns it into a game. The actual gameplay seems very work like in a way, but just indulging in the overall theme and attempting your best to act efficiently was fun. While the game is still very much in development, I must say that I found the game very intriguing.
